Snowy Engagements, Sundance, UT
The Perfect Storm:
Courtney & Mike were hoping to showcase some snowy Utah mountains for their engagement session. When Courtney arrived from Oklahoma the warm, muddy conditions here in the mountains were less than ideal. We decided to wait and see what mother nature might grant us. A week later there was a blizzard in Park City (still not ideal), but a short drive to Sundance provided just the right conditions. It was quiet and still with perfect snowflakes falling down on these two love birds.
Courtney + Mike’s Story:
Courtney was away in Moscow (Russia!), on a Christian mission trip when her friend Julie suggested she connect with her friend Mike, who was back in the states. They reached out to each other on Facebook, ended up chatting for hours, then, upon her return, flew back and forth between Utah and Oklahoma to see each other. After a year of dating, Mike proposed to Courtney the day before Thanksgiving. Right now they’re busy planning their upcoming wedding at a beautiful Texas vineyard. After they wed, Courtney will move to Utah and they will start their new lives together in the beautiful Wasatch mountains. Congrats Courtney & Mike!
I’m excited to photograph their wedding!
