Buck is the real deal, an extremely talented horse trainer, roper, and one down-to-earth cowboy. Earlier in the week I went to see the documentary “Buck”, and of course after seeing this amazing award-winning film by Cindy Meehl, and meeting him at the film, I had to see Buck in action. The next day I was fortunate enough to photograph the demo fundraiser put on by the National Ability Center in Park City.
After the demo I went home day dreaming and remembering my teenage years riding my horse after school. Thank you Buck for inspiring us all to be better human beings.

Nice shots! I’m excited to get to photograph him later this month in Cle Elum WA. I went to his clinic in Spanaway last fall, but it’s in an ugly, dark indoor arena. Cle Elum is at a beautiful new outdoor horse park so I’m jazzed 😉
Thank you! Buck is absolutely amazing to watch. Although the sun was harsh it was nice to be working outdoors (it was originally planned indoors, I’m so glad they moved it! Good luck! I hope you get some great shots!
