Pawsatch Snow Dogs

A couple of months ago I met up with my daughter’s Montessori class in Midway for their field trip to ride on a dog sled pulled by Alaskan Malamutes and Siberian Huskies ~many of them rescue dogs. The owners of Pawsatch Snow Dogs offered to have me to ride on the back of the guide snowmobile (so I could photograph a moving sled from a moving snowmobile…) how could I say no? The adrenaline was pumping as I clutched my camera and held on for life ~ those dogs are fast! After the ride, the kids played with a litter of 5 week-old puppies and drank hot chocolate in the trailer. Fun times!
