I’m officially a blogger!
Okay it’s out. My blog that is. I’ve been using facebook as a pseudo blog for some time. I admit I had a little case of blogaphobia. I was afraid that I wouldn’t know what to say or how personal it should be and what about my writing ability? Back in college I took a writing class. The first thing my professor said was, “I believe people are born good writers or they are not. A doctor can hold up a baby and say “This one will write and this one won’t.”, so you either have it or you don’t.” Naturally, I was terrified that I might not have it. I got an A in the course. I’m no Emily Dickinson, but it boosted my confidence and writing became easier for me. I took that class over a decade ago. I’m a little rusty. I knew starting a blog could really strengthen my business. I waited. I procrastinated. Then out of a dead sleep last week I woke up with an insatiable desire to start a blog. I’ll start with something personal, right from my own home. So here it is! Short and sweet!
Early Snowflakes
I woke up yesterday morning to “It’s snowing outside!” I sat up and peeked out the blinds above my bed and sure thing, October 6th, snow on the ground. It seems a little early for snow. It won’t stick I thought, but here I am the next day at 10:08 am, and it’s still there. The entertaining part of that morning was my youngest daughter, Mirabelle, yelled “I’m going to go skiing!” She’s 2 1/2 and has never been skiing before. Glad at least someone is ready. So I went out in my PJ’s and got a few snapshots of her playing with the first snow of the season.
Congratulations on your new blog. I’m sure it will help expose the public to your excellent photography. Good luck and keep those great photos coming!
